Jackson's life Print

Jackson lives in Canberra with his mother, Sally. His eldest brother Tim lives with them about two thirds of the time, working remotely for his job in Sydney. He will return to Sydney full-time in 2010.

Jackson has been working for JACKmail for over 3 years. He leaves home at 8.30 sharp each week-day morning with his driver and co-worker, Philippe. Together they deliver the mail to several Canberra businesses.

Apart from his work, Sally has endeavoured to give Jackson as full, valued and rich a life as she can. Some of his afternoon and week-end pursuits are:

Joining the street soccer players every Wednesday. Jackson carries some of the lunch supplies to the players but has not yet grasped the idea of soccer. Jackson and his friend Philippe at Street Soccer

Delivering library books for ACT Public Library System to people who are unable to get to their local library. Jackson volunteering at the library

Jackson loves anything that involves moving fast. He used to adore riding pillion on Mac’s BMW motor bike but now has to be satisfied with driving around in the car with music playing. Every Christmas he goes to the fair at Bateman's Bay and is thrilled by the most hair-raising rides.

He participates in community events like The Canberra Times Fun Walk and sometimes helps deliver the local Yarralumla Residents Association newsletter. Jackson delivering the YRA Newsletter
